The Lucky Update, released on 3/17/2016 introduces us to Brian and the Lucky Market. Also newly released into the game is MR. Fortune… an opportunity to win items by playing with Fortune coins. The Lucky Update is Temporary. In order to be able to purchase the items in the update with the Lucky Coins, you must participate at the time the update is released. Similar to the French Artist and Halloween updates, once the Lucky Market is gone, you cannot purchase the special items in the Lucky Market. There is also the addition to the Trading post in which you can Use Lucky coins to trade some nice harder to craft items!

This is Brian. When you click on him, he will ask you for RANDOM “Lucky” Crafted items. In return, he will give you Lucky Coins you can use to purchase items from the Lucky Market or the Trading Post. Brian The more difficult or longer the recipe is to craft, the more Lucky Coins he gives. He may ask for the same item several times in a row. This is not a glitch or fault of the game. It is completely random and there is no way to change what he is asking for unless you give him what he wants or spend a few bucks to skip.

During the second week of this update, new items were added to trade in the trading post.
Some of us got wise…. and worked hard to purchase the Holiday Booths. At that time, they gave 5 Lucky coins every 12 hours. It has now been changed to 3 Lucky coins every 12 hours. BUT… collecting the coins every 12 hours has given the advantage of just being able to trade coins for these items instead of needing to craft them! Also… the more booths you bought, the more coins you could collect and not craft and trade to Brian which allowed you to purchase other items in the lucky market!
